Elementary School

The Elementary Experience at Bethany Christian Academy

At Bethany Christian Academy, we aim to create joy and excitement for learning while equipping students with the skills and character needed for success. Our elementary program focuses on fostering a strong academic foundation, building character, and preparing students for future transitions.

Specials Classes

To expand learning beyond traditional subjects, BCA offers a variety of specials classes that allow students to explore new interests and skills:

  • Chorus

  • Music

  • Strings

  • STEAM

  • Spanish

  • PE

Clubs

Our elementary clubs offer students opportunities for creativity, leadership, and teamwork. Current club offerings include:

  • Running Club

  • Spanish Club

  • Chess Club

  • Art Club

  • Drama Club

Academic Accountability

  • BCA administers the Progress Learning each spring for grades K – 8.

  • Bethany Christian Academy is accredited through ILCS, SACS, and Cognia.

Elementary Leadership

Our elementary program is led by experienced and dedicated leaders who support both academic growth and student well-being:

  • Principal: Antoine Stimphil

  • Assistant Principal: Annette Charles

Both leaders are committed to fostering a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to thrive academically, spiritually, and socially.

School Hours

  • School Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Early Drop-Off: Begins at 7:00 AM

  • After-School Program: Available until 6:00 PM

Chapel

All BCA elementary students attend weekly chapel on Wednesdays, led by BCA faculty, staff, or guest speakers from the community. Chapel focuses on:

  • Worship

  • The practical application of God’s Word to students' daily lives.

 

Our goal is to create an environment where students grow in their faith, develop strong academic skills, and build lasting character as they prepare for their future.
