Thriving in Middle School at Bethany Christian Academy

The middle school years are a crucial period of growth and development. At Bethany Christian Academy, we see this as an invaluable opportunity to mold and shape students as they navigate this transitional stage.

Academic Programs

Our middle school curriculum is designed to be challenging, engaging, and Christ-centered, equipping students with the skills they need to excel in high school and beyond.

Encounter Experience

At the end of the academic year, students participate in Encounter, a special time designed to foster friendship, spiritual growth, and community building. This memorable experience allows students to reflect on their achievements and prepare for the transition to high school.

Athletics

Our middle school athletic program currently offers Basketball for students interested in developing their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Technology

To enhance learning, BCA’s middle school operates a 1:1 technology program, equipping each student with a Google Chromebook for digital e-textbooks, assignments, and web-based learning tools.

Academic Accountability

  • BCA administers the MAPS assessment in the Fall, Winter, and Spring to measure student progress and academic growth.

  • Bethany Christian Academy is accredited through ILCS, SACS, and Cognia.
